My Process
I keep things simple and streamlined. I am able to start at any step in this process or hand off the project at any step in the process.
-
We will connect via video call or in-person to create a brief. The brief is basically the problem we are trying to solve. During this meeting we will figure out what exactly it is that we want to make, our objectives, who we are making it for (audience), what makes your brand or company unique, and begin brainstorming how we can present your brand or company to this audience in a relatable, yet unique or unexpected way and what outcome we want to achieve. During this meeting we will get an idea of what we can realistically create based on your advertising needs, budget and timeline.
-
After our initial meeting I will develop several insights, or ideas of how we can present your brand or company in an exciting and engaging way to your audience. We will then come to a consensus on the best concept to move forward with. One that fits your needs, budget and timeline.
-
The planning phase. In addition to handling logistics of what equipment and personnel we will need, I will develop a script (if needed), create storyboards, work out the look of the project (what mood to achieve through use of color, lighting and camera movements etc.), find ideas for music and audio, find locations and talent (if needed). I can then create a schedule for when and where all the magic will happen. You are welcome to be involved in this processes as much or as little as you would like. I will run all details by you for approval.
-
Game day. All of the pre-production comes together to capture the visual magic that we will weave together for the final product. Whether we are capturing aerial footage, shooting interviews, filming actors or creating motion graphics and animation, this is when it all starts to come to life!
-
Editing. This is when everything fully comes together as we edit the footage, select music, design sound and add any graphics or effects. We will send over a couple of drafts to you for revisions so that we can make sure that the concept we came up with is clearly conveyed and surpasses expectations. The final result is then delivered to you, optimized for it’s intended platform (web, social media, broadcast, event screens etc.).
